Rules relating to Bedfordshire County C.B.A. League Matches

1. Registration
In any one season a player can only represent one club at all B.C.C.B.A. League Matches for which the season commences on 1st September.

2. Playing Rules
All matches are played under the English Carpet Bowls Association Rules to a Calendar issued by the B.C.C.B.A. League Secretary.

3. Players Names
Prior to the commencement of a League Match the Team Captain is to issue to the opposing
Team Captain the names of their team players.

4. Substitutes
4.1 No substitutes permitted.
4.2 Should a player be unable to continue play due to injury/sickness then the game will be completed using a 3.3.2 format without penalty.

5. When a team arrives with players short
5.1 Should a team arrive without a full squad of 12 players then a minimum of 8 players is acceptable without incurring a penalty. Teams of four may be picked from the players available. However, Skips and Threes may only be played once in the match.
5.2 When one or both clubs involved are unable to field a full team, or for any reason are unable to attend on the prescribed date for a match then that match may be re-arranged on a date convenient to both clubs. No penalties will be incurred.

6. Measuring
At all matches the host club is to provide a competent person to carry out measuring if required.

7. Completion of Games - Score Cards
At the completion of a game, the Skips are to ensure the score cards are correct before signing.
Once signed and passed to the host club Team Captain, no amendment can be made.

8. League Match Result Sheets
The host club Team Captain is to forward the match results to the League Secretary as soon as possible by either e-mail or post.

9. League Match Postponement
Where a match is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances a re-match. must be arranged, at a date convenient to both parties. If the home team's venue is not available, the away team's venue can be used. Notify the League Administrator of venue change when submitting score cards.

10. Dress Code
Tops - club colours as specified by your club, where possible.

11. Mobile Phones
Mobile Phones are to be switched off when in the playing area.
